For the 2nd year running, Bhagwan Marine have taken home the Best Stand Award at the 2016 Australian Oil & Gas (AOG) Exhibition.
“One of the key topics of discussion at AOG this year was innovation, and it was great to see that reflected in so many of the stands”, said AOG Event Director, Bill Hare.
The Bhagwan Marine Expo Stand was a prime example of this innovation by incorporating a virtual reality tour of their flagship vessel, the ‘Bhagwan Dryden’, a 57M ROV & Air Dive Support Vessel. The video, produced by WA based company Augmental
(Glenfield Digital Group
) was a major hit at AOG providing Bhagwan the extra ‘wow factor’ to claim their 2nd consecutive Best Stand Award.
BM’s Managing Director, Loui Kannikoski said, “The Bhagwan Dryden generally operates out of the remote North West Shelf area of Western Australia, meaning it is often hard for potential clients to get onboard to inspect the vessel in person. However, by watching this video in Virtual Reality, potential clients can walk away after 7 and a half minutes and feel like they have just taken a guided tour and been walked through all of the vessel’s features and capabilities. This creates a much more memorable and intimate experience than handing someone a printed brochure. It’s definitely something we will be looking to do more of in the future with our high spec vessels.”
